So much for the myth of a liberal media
Okay, so basically, we the people paid
this guy $240,000 for a propaganda campaign thinly veiled as legitimate journalism. As a comparison, consider that we pay the Vice President around $187,000 a year. As a certified media whore, I am very bothered by this kind of crap.

Congratulations on 500! You're totally popular! Heh, isn't that exciting? I mean, don't you STRIVE for blog popularity?
Yeah, it is pretty cool to be so loved. heh heh. The number of visitors per day has been going up steadily Since New Year's Eve.
...oops, I should have proofread that. I wasn't trying to be dramatic or anything by capitalizing "Since"...
That story reminds of a story here in America, where a conservative columnist published the name of a CIA operative: http://www.cnn.com/2003/ALLPOLITICS/09/29/novak.cia/ .
The husband of the CIA agent spoke out against against President Bush, so some traitor in the Bush Administration decided to out his wife in retribution. That put her life at risk, as well as all of her contacts.
I can understand journalists not wanting to disclose their sources in most situations, because who would be willing to speak with a journalist if they thought that person would turn them in? However, in both stories, better judgement should have been exercised in publishing the stories at all.
