a duck indeed! ...but why?

Wouldn't you like to know! Just kidding. Actually, my friend Mary was having trouble logging in to Hello, so I fixed it for her by downloading a patch, and then I was just testing it by posting the duck picture from her camera.

Then I decided that I liked the duck, and decided to keep it. It is a British duck (the picture was taken in Regents Park when Mary and I went to London last September).
