This is my favorite picture, I love the patterns it made in the water. And also, marvelous poem- I agree- rhymed couplets (when they're by Poe) are a good thing. Hope you are feeling better soon.

I haven't been here in a while... I re-found you as I was re-reading my past blogs, checking for errors and loving myself. I know it's sick so dont' bother pointing it out. Since I've missed so much, I went back a few weeks and read everything.... WOW. You got plenty to say.... I've read so much I can't even comment specifically... wow!
The only people who can get away with couplets like these are Poe and Dr. Seuss... and I love em both! I would say cheer up, except I get most of my inspiration from overly-analytical introspective thought sessions, so I'm don't necessarily want to wish them away. So I'll just wih that you feel better, once you're done feeliong what you're feeling.
Will that work?
Glad I found my way back here. Stay in touch so I don't forget about ya! I'd blogroll you, but I'm too drunk tonight (which also explains the lengthy comment)! But I will blogroll you, and I'm not even racist...
Peace, man - feel better!

Thanks Hansy, I liked the patterns too (hence the title).
Rachael, so good to hear from you again! Thanks for the well wishes. I'm feeling much better than I was a couple of days ago.
Jenn, dipping toes is about all it's good for. The water is too damn cold for swimming (yet somehow the little kids are always swimming in it).
Heidi, the water around here is way too cold for me. I was thinking about getting a wetsuit so I could actually enjoy the water, but I haven't gotten around to it (and now the season is half over).

Thanks Roger.
And Rach, sorry, I was working on a 500 question take-home exam for my real estate class until 1:30am last night, then I had to get up at 5:30am to finish it. I should have something up tonight, unless I pass out as soon as I get home from work.
