in college it was so awesome - on earth day they would have buses all day out to the mountain and a festival of music and arts and all the hippies would come (the real hippies, not just the college broomstick skirt wearing ones) and do hair wraps. we'd go to booths about various environmental stuff and plants trees, etc. i completely forgot about it today until i saw your post! comes from living in the city and so far from nature i guess. maybe i'll go plant some flowers and tomatoes.
